Rather taking the Alaska Marine Highway ferry back, I decided to drive the Alaska-Canada highway. The summer travel season was over so there was very little traffic on the highway. I spent the night at a RV spot in Burwash Landing along Lake Kluane. Some surrealistic photo art with a derelict boat along the shore.

Sunrise and Sunset in Antwerp and some random images in Brussels. At one point I was chased away from a chocolate shop for trying to take a picture of their window display. Belgium Waffles and the famous Manneken Pis bronze statue.

Fawn with spots resting while munching grass. That year the grass was still green at this time of the summer. Image take with a Nikon D3x camera and 600 mm f/4 VR lens (ISO 160, 600 mm, f/4, 1/100 sec).

The group took Alaska Railroad train for a day trip to the Spencer Glacier in the Chugach National Forest. The glacier is only accessible as a “whistle stop” on the train line. A (sort of) time-lapse video of images from the day including Albert’s size 13 boot. A bit confusing and jerky because I was using two different cameras and lenses.
