Autumn Indoor Nature in New Jersey

One of the cactus plants I bought back inside started to bloom with tiny pink flowers. The following image is a focus-stacked macro image of the flower taken with a Fuji X-T3 camera and 80 mm f/2.8 macro lens (ISO 200, 80 mm, f/2.8, 1/250 sec). Raw images processed with Capture One Pro and composite created using Helicon Focus.

Daily Electric Energy Used (60.8 kWh) from Sense and Daily Solar Electric Energy Produced (26.9 kWh) from SolSystems and Locus Energy. Sun out in the morning, but then cloudy. At this time of the year the sun is lower, and the Sycamore tree leaves shadow the solar panels in the afternoon. Overall a net deficit of 33.9 kWh.

Autumn Backyard Nature in New Jersey

The sun was out in the morning as I went for my daily walkabout with a Fuji X-T3 camera and 200 mm f/2 lens with a 1.4x teleconverter. Backlit fall leaves, Praying Mantis egg sacks, late season wildflowers, and the Burma water gourd vine, with small gourds.
