Gone to See Europe 2014. Day 0: Stockholm, Sweden.

Stern of the Vasa at the Museum in Stockholm. Composite of three images taken with a Fuji X-T1 camera and Zeiss 12 mm f/2.8 lens (ISO 800, 12 mm, f/5.6, 1 sec). Raw image processed with AutoPano Giga Pro 4, Capture One Pro 8, Focus Magic, and Photoshop CC. This was a difficult image to take even with a wide angle lens. The composite was processed with AutoPano Giga, Capture One was used to fix the perspective (keystone). Looking at where the waterline would be, it is not surprising that the ship sank on its maiden voyage. It is an amazing sight, and that it was preserved so well being underwater for over 300 years (from 1628 until 1961).
