Dawn to Sunrise full sky time-lapse video. Images taken with a Nikon D850 camera and 8-15 mm fisheye lens (ISO 400, 10 mm, f/4, various). Raw images processed with Capture One Pro, and the time-lapse video created with PhotoShop CC.
Time-Lapse Video of Dawn and Sunset Panorama at Sunset. Both were done with a Fuji X-T2 camera and 16 mm f/1.4 lens. I also did dawn through sunrise with a Garmin VIRB-360 camera but didn’t like the color/white balance. And since the Garmin camera only records jpg images it is difficult to modify the colors in post processing.
Colors at Sunset. Composite of eight images taken with a Fuji X-T2 camera and 16 mm f/1.4 lens (ISO 200, 16 mm, f/4, 1/15 sec). Raw images processed with Capture One Pro and AutoPano Giga Pro. (David J Mathre)
Gone to See Florida Fall 2014 Road Trip. Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge.
Great Blue Heron appearing to walk on water as it comes in for a landing along Blackpoint Wildlife Drive. I’ve also included slide shows with some of the other birds present that day: Anhinga, Black Vulture, Double-breasted Cormorant, Great Egret, Hawk, Osprey (with a fish), Tricolored Heron, and Turkey Vulture. Note that some of the Vulture images are graphic.

Gone to See Cuba 2011 People to People Cultural Exchange. Day 6 of a Street Photography Workshop led by Steve Simon.
I spent some of the day using the Astro tripod head to do 360 degree images and 360 degree time-lapse videos. First stop was the Plaza de San Francisco (Saint Francis of Assisi). Later we did a walk along the Malecón (Avenida de Maceo) — actually across the street from the seawall since there were very large waves crashing against the seawall. Here I did a straight time-lapse video of the traffic and waves. At one point a woman walking along the seawall decides that the waves are too big and crosses the avenue.
