Backyard Autumn Nature in New Jersey

My hot pepper crop that the deer left. Also some strawberries that the deer missed. The Burma water gourd vine has climbed up the trellis on the chimney. It has produced some gourds, but probably too late to get very big.

Notice the reduction mid-afternoon due to the sun being lower and being blocked by the leaves on the   Overall a net deficit of 13.9 kWh. I would have a surplus if I wasn’t running the lights for the hydroponic gardens (17.4 kWh).

Gone to See Portugal. Street Photography Workshop with Steve Simon. Day 0: Lisbon, Portugal.

I arrived in Lisbon a day before the workshop. I walked around most of the day. Lots of tourists in town to watch the running of the marathon. Later in the evening I had dinner with Steve Simon.

Individual Images from the slideshows can be viewed here.

This young deer thought it was hiding in the bushes. Looks like some type of wound on its belly.

Backyard Autumn Nature in New Jersey

I forgot to set the air-dancer scarecrow on the patio last night. The deer came up and ate leaves off the hot pepper plants in the GrowTower (but left the hot peppers).

Four-Years Ago (13-October-2015) — New Jersey

Backyard Autumn Nature in New Jersey.

Autumn 360 degree panorama view of my backyard four-years ago. Renovation was in process. The new French doors to the Great Room were installed, the siding was being replaced, and the deck had been removed. The big rocks were going to be the foundation for the new patio. Four hundred and fifty images were taken using an Astro programmable rotating head on my tripod. Ten of the images were used to create the composite panorama (20755 x 4634 pixels). The image was cropped just to show the exterior home renovation in progress. The full set of 450 images were taken and used to create a rotating time-lapse video.
