Another case of “the best camera is the one with you”. I’d never seen contrails lined up like this before with the added bonus of happening just after sunset. View from the Old Northeast section of St. Petersburg, Florida.

Back when I still worked at the Merck facility in West Point Pennsylvania I crossed this bridge every morning very early trying to avoid traffic on Route 206. While leaving Cuba, I noticed this old 3-engine jet on the side of the runway in Cuba (L-1011, MD-10, DC-11 Boeing 727?). It looks like it is used for emergency evacuation practice. No engines, and black soot on the fuselage.
