Glad I went when I did. Waves Crashing Into the Seawall Along the Malecón. Castillo de San Salvador de la Punta and the Havana Harbor Lighthouse in the Distance. Eventually, waves will wash down anything…

Backyard Autumn Nature in New Jersey.

Turkey Vulture and the Moon. Several hundred turkey vultures spent the night in some local trees. This morning I went out at dawn to get some images as they started to fly away. Backyard Autumn Nature in New Jersey: Turkey Vulture Soaring

Every day the turkey vultures fly in wide circles looking for carrion. During the autumn rutting season they often find road-killed deer.  This turkey vulture was soaring in the late afternoon sun.
