Two-Years Ago (07-September-2009) — Alaska

Gone to See North America Road Trip. Day 17: Denali National Park, Alaska. (Day 3: Nikonians ANPAT 9).

View of Mount Denali on a clear day from the Stony Hill Overlook (mile 62). This is on the only road into Denali National Park. Private vehicles are restricted to the first 15 miles into the park. To go beyond that point you either need to walk or take the (hop-on, hop-off) buses provided by the National Park Service.

Gone to See North America Road Trip – Nikonians ANPAT 9. Day 16: Alaska Railroad – Anchorage to Denali National Park, Alaska.

Two years ago today ANPAT 9 had just started. I took this image of Albert while we were on the Alaska Railroad traveling from Anchorage to Denali National Park. I am working on a time-lapse video using the images I took on the train trip.

Backyard Summertime Nature in New Jersey.

This tree fungus was not staying still long enough to keep in focus. I used a feature in Capture One Pro where I selected a color, and then reduced the saturation for the inverse colors (thus B&W + one color). We will see if the Blob is blocking my driveway tomorrow morning.
