Four-Years Ago (28-June-2012) — New Jersey

Independence Day Fireworks in Montgomery Township, New Jersey.

To save on costs the township does the fireworks before or after the 4th. This year weather permitting it will be on the 30th. I hope to find a good place to set up my camera.

Poppy Seed Pod. Composite of 16 focus stacked images taken with a Nikon D800 camera and 105 mm f/2.8 VR macro lens (ISO 100, 105 mm, f/3.8, 1/20 sec) using Helicon Focus. The pink in the background is a way out of focus pink poppy flower.

Backyard Springtime Nature in New Jersey.

My phone died last week, and won’t have internet access at home for a month. So I will upload images when I find WiFi hotspots that don’t block me for transferring too much data. This is a set of poppies from my wildflower patch before the deer and rabbits got hungry. I also have several time-lapsed videos of the poppies opening which I will post later.
