Magnificent Frigatebird over Willemstad, Curacao. Image taken with a Nikon D3s and 70-300 mm VR lens (ISO 450, 165 mm, f/10, 1/800 sec). Magnificent Frigatebirds have a wingspan up to 85 inches (215 cm) and spend the majority of their life soaring at sea.

My phone died last week, and won’t have internet access at home for a month. So I will upload images when I find WiFi hotspots that don’t block me for transferring too much data. This is a set of poppies from my wildflower patch before the deer and rabbits got hungry. I also have several time-lapsed videos of the poppies opening which I will post later. Individual images in the slide show can be viewed here.
Don’t Stand Behind a Puffin. I learned the hard way in Iceland shooting images of Puffins up a cliff the previous year. Image taken with a Nikon Df camera and 300 mm f/2.8 VR lens. (ISO 220, 300 mm, f/5.6, 1/1000 sec).
