David Mathre Photography

Welcome to my Images of the Day Photo blog. My goal is to post images from each day of the year going back to 2006 when I got my first DSLR camera. My photographic interest include Travel, the Natural World, Landscapes, and Photographic Techniques. I try to include information for each image as to where, when, why and how the image was processed. Most of the images are available for purchase -- either as prints or rights managed (Clicking on an image brings you to the ShepArt Studio Team Site). Comments about the images or this site are always welcome. DJM

Spring is Comming!!!

When I got home today, I noticed that these Purple Crocuses were in bloom across the street. I think that this is the earliest that I have seen these blooming. In addition, some of the Daffodils are also starting to bloom.

For those wondering why I have not posted recently, things have been busy at work. I have posted some Daily Photography Theme images on Google+

    David:
You’re loving that V1, aren’t you? Really nice shots, nice colour!!
I just went out on a shoot with Sophie (yesterday) and she used the newish Pentax 67 with a couple of lenses and a hefty tripod. It was quite fun–I have no idea how the shots will look–film is so hard to live with these days. How doI get to see your Google+?

      David,

I see that you have joined Google+. Now you need to add me to one of your circles. Then you will see my posts. I have added you to one of my circles so I will see anything you share to +Public or +”The circle you have me in”

Does Sophie also develop the film herself?
