Three-Years Ago (13-March-2015) — Chile

Gone to See Patagonia 2015 Photography Tour with Thom Hogan. Day 12: Lago Grey, Torres del Paine National Park, Chile.

We spent morning in and around Hotel Lago Grey. In the afternoon we took the bus to find views of Torres del Paine. The panorama views were created as composites of multiple images using AutoPano Giga Pro. Best viewed in full screen mode.

Late-Winter Backyard Nature in New Jersey.

The deer keep getting closer to the house looking for food as winter winds down. They have already clipped the yucca plants. Now all that is left is the grass.

Late-Winter Backyard Nature in New Jersey.

Hundreds of Turkey Vultures were soaring in the late afternoon looking for a place to spend the night. Images taken with a Nikon D5 camera and 80-400 mm VRII lens.

Monday (05-March-2018) — New Jersey

Backyard Winter Nature in New Jersey — Signs of Spring.

Early American Robin scouting out the backyard to see if winter is over. It should have been here a day earlier when there were many worms on the ground that had been forced to the surface because of the rain. The Robin will have to go hide again if we get the Nor’easter with the strong winds and heavy snow predicted for Wednesday.
