The sky was cloudy, but the weather report said it wouldn’t rain until tomorrow. This time I set up four cameras to record the fire flies. Let me know which ones you like/dislike. It took a lot longer to process the images than the time I slept while the pictures were being taken.
The fireflies are back this year. I finally took time to set up three cameras to do a sequence of images that could be used to create composite firefly trails images and time-lapse videos.
A Dragonfly and Icelandic Poppies.
Little-Planet view of my backyard and house on a clear day. The image is a composite of 37 images taken with a Fuji X-T1 camera and Bower 8 mm f/2.8 fisheye lens (ISO 200, 8 mm, f/16, 1/30 sec). The first image is the version processed with the JPG images three years ago. The Little Planet, Tunnel View, and 360 degree Panorama have been newly processed with the raw images (with a much faster and more powerful computer). I like the colors better with the newly processed images. At the time these images were taken, I still had a deck (now a stone patio), and I now have solar panels on the roof.
My wildflower meadow is still very bare. I did notice two Bachelor Button flowers, and I have still not identified the small white & pink flower. On the other side of the house there were some daisy like flowers. The pepper plants in the planter, and vegetables & lettuce in the Garden Tower.
