Tuesday (21-December-2021) — New Jersey

First Day of Winter. Backyard Nature in New Jersey.

Birds of the day viewed at the birdfeeder and in the backyard: Mourning Dove, Blue Jay, Dark-eyed Junco. Busy with other projects, so the images were obtained from security video cameras.

Time-lapse Little Planet videos of the day. Removing the 3-point Post Hole digger from Red Rover. Distributing deer fence posts to the holes dug yesterday. Starting assembly of the deer fence gates.

Daily Electric Energy Used (74.9 kWh) from Sense. Daily Solar Electric Energy Produced (17.3 kWh) from Sense and SolSystems. Cloudy. Geothermal HVAC heating the house, much of the day stage 2 since it is cold outside. Deficit of 57.6 kWh.

Wednesday (08-December-2021) — New Jersey

Autumn Backyard Nature in New Jersey.

Birds of the day viewed at the birdfeeder and in the backyard: Mourning Dove, Blue Jay, Black-capped Chickadee, House Finch, Dark-eyed Junco.

I am trying to figure out the problem with the following slideshow. (10-Decmber-2021 Update: PhotoShelter provided a fix to the slideshow problem).

Time-lapse Videos of the Day with Red Rover. (1) Completed assembly of the 4th Shelter Logic storage shed. The frame remained up overnight (no strong winds) prior to attaching the ground anchors. This one has a rounded roof, and we will see if it does better when the snow comes. (2) Assembled a Titan 3-Point Subsoiler Single Tine Ripper, then used it to pull out some old agricultural fabric.

Tuesday (07-December-2021) — New Jersey

Time-lapse Videos of the Day. Assembly of the 4th ShelterLogic storage shed. This one has a rounded roof, and we will see if it does better when the snow comes. 1) Morning, assembling the frame. 2) Afternoon, back and front walls. Didn’t finish with the top or anchors as the sun started to go down. Just hope not too much wind overnight.
