Backyard Summertime Nature in New Jersey.

A groundhog approaching my patio. I am less patient with these critters. A number of years ago, one built its nest in a tunnel right next the basement’s foundation. They also have devastated my kitchen garden.

Tuesday (19-June-2012) — New Jersey

Backyard Late Springtime in New Jersey.

On this last day of spring, I saw a fat groundhog eating grass just off my porch. The animal is really shy, running away as soon as it sees my camera & lens.
