Boulder: Evening Storm Clouds

This was the second night in a row that we had unique storm clouds at sunset.

Boulder: Evening Storm Clouds

While working part-time in Boulder, I was living a Marriott Residence Inn that was just a short distance away from the Sirna facilities. From my office, I noticed that it was getting dark out with some ominous clouds approaching. I took this sh0t while walking to the Residence Inn.

Rocky Mountain National Park: Winter Visit

I miss not working part-time in Boulder, Colorado. While there I was able to visit Rocky Mountain National Park all seasons of the year. As long as the roads were clear, it was only an hour drive from Boulder to the park. Some of these images were published ten-years ago, and some are new. All have been reprocessed using newer software.

Colorado Autumn Road Trip: Big Horn Sheep.

I saw several Big Horn Sheep along Colorado 14 while driving back to Boulder from Arapaho National Wildlife Refuge. Soon after I stopped and started taking pictures with a big lens, several other vehicles also stopped. As soon as the crowd started getting out the Big Horns all turned around and showed their rear ends. Hard to believe, but one day later I was in Hawaii attending a workshop run by Thom Hogan.
