Back when I still worked at the Merck facility in West Point Pennsylvania I crossed this bridge every morning very early trying to avoid traffic on Route 206. Summer Morning Reflections at Lily Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park. Image taken with a Nikon D2xs and 14 mm f/2.8 lens (ISO 140, 14 mm, f/11, 1/60 sec). Three versions — as originally processed, reprocessed three-years ago (Capture One Pro, Photoshop CC, Focus Magic, and NIK Color Efex and NIK Define), and reprocessed today. Night Time Thunderstorm. Two minute time-lapse video. Moon, Clouds, Lightning. Approximately 3000 Images taken between midnight and 4 AM from my backdoor using a Nikon D810A camera and 24 mm f/3.5 PC-E lens (ISO 800, 24 mm, f/4, 4 sec). At one point I had to move the camera away from the door during a heavy downpour. Time-lapse video created from the in camera jpg images using Photoshop CC. This was the fourth night in a row that we have had thunderstorms.
A bit of a heat wave after the cold temperatures last week. Colorful morning clouds at dawn. It was warm enough during the afternoon to completely melt the ice in the bird bath, allowing the solar-powered fountain to start working. After it got dark I made a time-lapse video of the fountain.
When I woke up, there were more clouds than yesterday. I set the two cameras up again, and this time rewarded with some colors and a pillar of light at sunrise. The solar pillar or column is sunlight being reflected from thin ice crystal plates. Time-lapse videos and some panorama images.
