Wintertime Backyard Nature in New Jersey.

About 4 inches of snow last night. I cleared the driveway in the morning since I had some deliveries scheduled in the afternoon. It is a lot easier clearing the snow right away. Time-lapse video recorded with a Garmin VIRB-360 camera.

Wintertime Backyard Nature in New Jersey.

Heavy snow most of the day. The highlight was a Red-shouldered Hawk in a tree overlooking the birdfeeder. Later in the afternoon several Turkey Vultures soared by looking for a place to roost overnight.

Wintertime Backyard Nature in New Jersey.

It started snowing a bit after 07:00 in the morning and continued until 15:30 in the afternoon. Total accumulation 8-10 inches. As soon as it stopped snowing I went out with the snow blower to clear the driveway. It went a lot easier clearing the snow right away. Time-lapse video recorded with a Garmin VIRB-360 camera.
