Walkabout looking for birds. Found a Black-capped Chickadee and a pair of Northern Cardinals.
We had a reminder that it is still winter today. Yesterday it was 65°F/18°C and sunny. Snow started coming down about 07:00 and continued until 13:00, with about 3 inches of accumulation. By 14:00 the sun was back out, and the snow was sliding off the solar panels. Yesterday, the solar panels generated 64 kWh of electricity, today only 3 kWh.
Back at sea, crossing the Indian Ocean from Mauritius to South Africa. Yet another amazing dawn and sunrise. What else can I say? Best to view the panorama in full screen mode. The color of the clouds is real changing from a pastel pink/lavender to a fiery yellow/orange.
I had some time to do a walkabout in Reykjavik, Iceland on a rainy winter day before joining a photo safari. These images were all taken with a Leica X2 camera, my favorite small travel camera.
