Fairgrown Farm CSA Weekly Delivery Box #16.

This week the box contained the following:

Cherry Tomatoes (Fairgrown Farm, Hopewell Township)
Heirloom/Red Tomatoes (Fairgrown Farm, Hopewell Township)
Jalapeno Peppers (Fairgrown Farm, Hopewell Township)
Lunchbox Sweet Peppers (Fairgrown Farm, Hopewell Township)
Orange “Glow” Peppers (Fairgrown Farm, Hopewell Township)

Add on of fruit and mushrooms (the eggs were missing):

Eggs (Polnasek Farm, Hillsborough)
Peaches (double portion for missing the peaches last week)
Ground Cherries (Fairgrown Farm, Hopewell Township)
Golden Oyster, Blue Oyster, Chestnut, and Pioppino Mushrooms (Zell’s Farm)

Tuesday (16-August-2022) — New Jersey

Summertime Nature in New Jersey.

Birds of the day viewed in my backyard: Ruby-throated Hummingbird, Downy Woodpecker, Blue Jay, House Finch, Common Grackle. Today, I didn’t see any Ruby-throated hummingbirds in the Zinnia patch, only at the birdfeeder.
