Summertime Nature in New Jersey.

Birds of the day viewed in my backyard: Ruby-throated Hummingbird, Turkey Vulture, Blue Jay, House Finch, American Goldfinch. The Ruby-throated Hummingbirds were feeding on Canna and Zinnia flowers. At one point one of the tiny Ruby-throated Hummingbirds started to harass an American Goldfinch. Competition over the Zinnia flowers.
