Dawn in El Calafate, Argentina. Sometimes you don’t get the mountains in the background while visiting Patagonia, but the colors were intense. Image taken with a Fuji X-T1 camera and 23 mm f/1.4 lens (ISO 200, 23 mm, f/16, 1/8 sec). Raw image processed with Capture One Pro 8 and Photoshop CC 2014.
Reflections of the Sky, Clouds and Mountains Across Reydarfjordur in Eastern Iceland. Image taken with a Leica X2 camera (ISO 100, 24 mm, f/8, 1/250 sec).
With all of the recent rain and warming temperatures melting the snow, the Delaware river had been flooding. I drove to Lambertville to get some pictures as the water was receding. Lots of trash washed up and was left behind in the Lambertville Inn parking lot next to the Lambertville – New Hope bridge. After getting home there were many more snow-drop and purple-crocus blooms to photograph.
Some more late winter flowers from my daily walkabout. There is hope for spring. Images taken with a Nikon 1 V1 camera and 30-110 mm VR lens. I got to really like this lightweight camera. A lot of folks consider the Nikon 1 mirrorless cameras as toys that a professional would never use.
