I am a scientist by training (Eckerd College, BSc; Caltech, Ph.D.). I worked for 27 years as a Chemist in the Pharmaceutical Industry developing processes to manufacture medicines for human and animal health. I now spend my time as a photographer and world traveler. I have traveled to over 55 countries in six continents, often on Semester at Sea voyages. While at home in New Jersey, I spend time on home renovation and expansion of a wildflower garden/meadow.

  1. +John Roach Thanks. I am amazed by what I can do with the N1V2, especially when coupled with fast glass. I took this the day I got the FT1 adapter that lets me use any Nikon F lens. The N1V2 lets me shoot 5, 15, 30, and even 60 fps for great action captures. Downside only center focus, but the focus is fast.
