Eleven days post Hurricane Sandy. Electricity had been restored and I was finally able to cook a meal in the house again. Ramen Noodle Soup with Beef and Red Onion. Prior to this I had been cooking by propane in my RV (which was running low because I had been running the generator to charge neighbors cell phones).
