Backyard Spring Nature in New Jersey.

Dying rat at my door step. Image taken with a Nikon D800 camera and 105 mm f/2.8 VR macro lens (ISO 6400, 105 mm, f/3, 1/15 sec). It was very lethargic with a wound on its neck.  A present or offering from one of the local free range cats.
