Five-Years Ago (05-February-2014) — Florida

Gone to See America. February 2014 Florida Road Trip. Day 5: Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge.

I love visiting Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge. Lots and lots of birds as well as an alligator hiding in the swamp to view and photograph.

Sunrise at Playalinda Beach, then spent the day roaming Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge. Early morning spider web, lots of birds, and an alligator sunning. Many of the birds had captured a fish.

Saturday (02-February-2019) — New Jersey

Backyard Wintertime Nature in New Jersey.

It has been very cold, and the local critters came out looking for food on this sunny morning. This is the first time that a crow came up onto the deck. It looks like it needs a bath, but all the water is frozen.

Three-Years Ago (23-January-2016) — Pacific Ocean

Gone to See the World. Semester at Sea Spring 2016 Voyage on the MV World Odyssey. Day 18: Crossing the Pacific Ocean.

I woke up to a dreary cloudy dawn sky. This was the final day crossing the North Pacific from Hawaii to Japan. You could tell we were getting closer to land as more seabirds were flying around the ship.
