Springtime Nature in New Jersey.

Birds of the day viewed in the backyard: Mourning Dove, Turkey Vulture, Dark-eyed Junco. The Turkey Vultures were soaring in the late afternoon thermals looking for a meal.

Purple Crocus and Forsythia flowers. Now that it is officially spring, the Forsythia shrubs have started turning bright yellow.

The solar panels are almost producing more power than I am using. Soon, I will be able to start growing things outside and will be able to turn off the indoor hydroponic units.

First Day of Spring. Nature in New Jersey.

Bird of the day viewed in the backyard: Turkey Vulture, American Crow. The birds seem to be avoiding the patio and birdfeeder.

The indoor hydroponic garden California Poppies (Red, Orange, Yellow, Pink-White) continue to bloom in Farm-01L and Farm-08L.

The day after it snowed in March. Monochrome images, Trolls, Animal Tracks (rabbit and fox), a frozen birdbath fountain, and the Mailbox with frozen red chili Santa.

The California Poppies (Red, Orange, Yellow, Pink-White) are blooming in Farm-01L and Farm-08L. Also a Red Poppy bud nearly ready to open. The bud first appeared about 2 days ago. The last time it took almost twice as long (124 days) for an indoor hydroponic poppy flower to open.
