Late Afternoon Walkabout at the Sourland Mountain Preserve. Four images of Bullfrogs. I especially like the last one “Grumpy”. After all the smaller frogs jumped into the water, he just stayed and stared at me. Images taken with a Nikon D4 camera and 80-400 mm VRII lens.
Troll Sitting With the Mushrooms. It has rained almost every day recently, and we have mushrooms popping up all over the yard. Composite of 15 focus stacked images taken with a Nikon D800 camera and 60 mm f/2.8 VR macro lens (ISO 100, 60 mm, f/3, 1/60 sec). Images processed with Capture One Pro and Helicon Focus (method C pyramid).
Robber Flies Mating on a Blade of Grass at the Sourland Mountain Preserve. Image taken with a Nikon D3s camera and 105 mm f/2.8 VR macro lens (ISO 320, 105 mm, f/16, 1/125 sec).
After several nights with thunderstorms, the sky was clear. Star (and jet) trails looking south. Composite of 220 images taken with a Nikon D810a camera and 16 mm f/2.8 fisheye lens (ISO 200, 16 mm, f/2.8, 60 sec). Raw images processed with Capture One Pro, and the composite processed using Photoshop CC: Statistics, maximum.
