Dew covered spider webs at sunrise. Big Cypress Swamp National Preserve in Florida. First image is a composite of three images taken with a Nikon Df camera and 80-400 mm VRII lens. Raw image processed with Google HDR Efex Pro. The second image is a single exposure with the same camera and lens.
This was the biggest spider I had ever seen in New Jersey. It was above my front door. I decided to go in the house via the back door to get a camera. Not as big as a tarantula, but close. Image taken with a Nikon D3 camera and 200 mm f/4 macro lens (ISO 220, 200 mm, f/16, 1/60 sec) and SB-900 flash.
