Do a search for Crystal Geyser and Green River, Utah. It is worth seeing – a cold, carbon dioxide powered geyser. I have posted images of it erupting in the past.

Tuesday (08-October-2013) — Arizona

Gone to See America 2013. Nikonian Annual Photography Adventure Trip. Day 3: Sedona to Williams, Arizona.

Road trip day as the group moved from Sedona to Williams, Arizona.  I drove myself since I had my vehicle. Most of the others traveled in the four rented vans. I set up my Nikon 1 V1 camera and 10 mm f/2.8 lens on a tripod strapped down on the passenger seat to record a time-lapse video of the drive.

Six-Years Ago (27-August-2006) — Michigan

Gone to See America 2006 Driving Tour. Day 2: Northern Peninsula of Michigan.

Miners Rock at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. For the first two days I drove almost non-stop (New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, then Michigan). I decided to stop at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore on the shore of Lake Superior and take some pictures. Two days before the trip I got a Nikon D200 DSLR camera and two lenses, a 18-70 mm kit lens and a 80-400 mm VR telephoto lens. All I knew about using the camera was from what I read in the manual — not much. All images were recorded as jpg, not raw which limited future processing.

Three-Years Ago (24-August-2009) — North Dakota

Gone to See North America Road Trip. Day 03: Theodore Roosevelt National Park, North Dakota.

Bison Bulls Fighting. My first night sleeping in the RV in a campground at Theodore Roosevelt National Park. These two Bison Bulls were having an argument just outside my site. I was glad that I would sleeping in the RV, and not in a tent like the family just across the road.

White Ram – My New Home. Three interior images of the “White Ram” My new Roadtrek RS Adventurous RV as I prepare to drive to Anchorage, Alaska to attend ANPAT 9 with my fellow Nikonians. All images taken with a fish-eye lens and thus the spaces look bigger than they really are! For the exterior view when I took delivery check out 15-August-2009.
