Backyard Springtime Night Sky Over New Jersey.

Startrails Looking North From My Backyard in New Jersey. Composite of 400 images taken with a Fuji X-T1 camera and 14 mm f/2.8 lens (ISO 200, 14 mm, f/2.8, 30 sec). Raw images processed with Capture One Pro and Photoshop CC. In the past I used the startrails.exe program to create the composite image. This time I made the composite using Scripts/Statistics Stack Mode = Maximum within Photoshop CC 2015.

Three-Years Ago (19-May-2012) — New Jersey

Springtime in New Jersey. Sourland Mountain Preserve.

I had gone for a walkabout at the Sourland Mountain Preserve. There was a family of Canada Geese swimming in the pond near the parking lot. After trying a number of different angles, I finally managed to catch them in formation. Image taken with a Nikon 1 V1 + FT1 adapter + 70-200 mm f/2.8 VRII lens (ISO 400, 200 mm, f/5.6, 1/320 sec). FOV = 540 mm with a 35 mm sensor.
