Summertime Nature at the Sourland Mountain Preserve.

I finally spotted a Clearwing Hummingbird Moth today at the Sourland Mountain Preserve. The Fuji X-T1 does not focus as fast as my Nikon camera bodies, but I was able to get two images before it flew off. It was extracting nectar from a Blue Chicory flower. In the past I have found them working the Thistle blooms. Summer Nature in New Jersey. Images taken with a Fuji X-T1 camera and 100-400 mm OIS lens.

Summertime Nature at the Sourland Mountain Preserve.

Walkabout at the Sourland Mountain Preserve this morning. Images of Dragonflies (having sex), Butterflies, a Canada Goose with an attitude, and a frog.
