There were three young fawns with spots in my backyard. Two of the fawns were very rambunctious running after each other as their mothers stayed still and watched. The new bird for the day at the bird feeder was a Hairy Woodpecker. A variety of Lily flowers have been blooming in my neighbor’s yard. The ones I planted last year didn’t make it being taken over by the “mile-a-minute” vine. Individual images from the slide-shows can be viewed here.
The Yucca and Prickly Pear flowers are in bloom. There are several new wildflowers (and I am not sure of the ID). I also am seeing more poppies (Red, Icelandic, and California). Individual images from the slide-shows are available here.
My Range Rover when it was shiny and new. I’m still driving it — now with over 180k miles.
First day of Summer. The Yucca plant gets closer to blooming, the deer ate the flowering tops of the hot pepper plants, the Red Poppies are starting to bloom, and a carrot like wildflower with tiny white flowers is starting to bloom.
