Summertime Nature at the Sourland Mountain Preserve.
Butterflies at the Sourland Mountain Preserve. A park near where I live. As I review my older images I realized that I have more butterfly and other insect images on this day of the year at the Sourland Mountain Preserve. I went out again this morning and was not disappointed. I will post some of those in just a bit. These images were taken with a Nikon D2xs camera and 70-200 mm f/2.8 VR lens. I cringe when I look at some of these being not quite in focus. At that point I had been using a DSLR camera for a little over one year. I still had a lot to learn (and still do…)
