Springtime Nature in New Jersey.

Birds of the day viewed in the backyard: Mourning Dove, Downy Woodpecker, American Crow, Black-capped Chickadee, House Finch, Chipping Sparrow, Dark-eyed Junco, Brown-headed Cowbird, Northern Cardinal.

Birds of the day. Individual images in the slideshow are available in my PhotoShelter Gallery.

Indoor hydroponic flowers of the day. I didn’t get up early enough for the pink-fringed white poppy (Papaver Rhoes) which much have started opening before the hydroponic AeroGarden Farm LED lights went on. A red Red Turkish Tulip Poppy (Papaver glaucum) opened later, which I did catch for a time-lapse video. One thing to note, the poppy flowers are blooming at nearly the height of the AeroGarden XL Farm (36″). This means I need to use a very tall tripod to capture the images using the Laowa 24 mm macro probe lens.
