Backyard Summertime Nature in New Jersey.
The Yucca flowers are mostly open. I hope to see the large white moth that visits them when the moon is full. Many years they don’t get this far, because the deer consider the flowers a delicacy. Each day that the sun is warm a new set of yellow Prickly Pear flowers open. The bees really like these flowers. Other flowers blooming include Day Lilies, Red Poppies, and Nasturium.
