Gone to See Iceland 2013 Photography Safari with Mike Hagen. Day 6: Skaftafell National Park.
Sheep Out On a Summer Pasture Along a Stream Below the Hvannadalshnjukur Glacier in Southeastern Iceland. Image taken with a Nikon 1 V2 camera and 10 mm f/2.8 lens (ISO 200, 10 mm, f/4, 1/1000 sec). One of many drive-by images I took while sitting in the back of the bus.

How very, very beautiful, +David Mathre ! The Icelandic sheep have got to be among the most privilleged in the world considering the size of their playground! Warm thanks for your support of the #FarmFriday theme and for your submission this week 🙂
This is such a beautiful vista, +David Mathre with that wonderful zig zag stream leading us to those grazing sheep and on to the mountains! A great share for #farmfriday thank you very much!
+Sofie Løve Forsberg I was actually amazed how many sheep were grazing outside of fences along the highway, and in seven days only saw one that was hit by a vehicle. We did have to slow down a couple of times to wait for a group of sheep to cross the road. The real lucky ones are out on the remote islands.
I walked along this creek and was amazed to find rather large trouts rushing back and forth in the small puddles .. Thanks for sharing this beautiful picture +David Mathre
