I am a scientist by training (Eckerd College, BSc; Caltech, Ph.D.). I worked for 27 years as a Chemist in the Pharmaceutical Industry developing processes to manufacture medicines for human and animal health. I now spend my time as a photographer and world traveler. My interests include the natural world, wildlife, landscapes, sky, and seascapes, travel, and astrophotography. I look for unique ways of viewing the world and presenting my images. I have traveled to over 55 countries in six continents, often on Semester at Sea voyages. While at home in New Jersey, I spend time on home renovation and expansion of a wildflower garden/meadow.

Nice images, David. BTW, in my new home in Virginia; progressing well at unpacking. Hope to get out and do photography in the next week or so. Take care.
In early October going on a trip to Maine (ANPAT) will make some stops on the way up. I could swing by and say hello, perhaps.
Thanks! I have been taking images every day, but get tied up with the home renovation project so end up not posting as many images that I would like. I am so happy that three of the sections I planted as wildflower meadows have been a success. Three other sections not as successful. Glad to have you stop by in October. I am hoping the kitchen is done in a couple of weeks. I will be letting my Nikonians membership lapse. It was prepaid for several years before my last ANPAT trip where I ended up on the wrong van… There is a chance I get to pass through Maine on the way to Canada in three weeks.
