Backyard Springtime Nature in New Jersey.
Time-lapse side-show of a pink poppy opening. Even though this looks like it is happening in daylight, the poppy flowers start to open in the very early dawn. I set the camera ISO to auto and let it ride to the maximum. Individual images can be viewed here.

+Leo Deegan I am going to try again early this morning for a view from above. They start opening before 05:00 AM when it is still dark out.
Fun +David Mathre, do you use an intervalometer or does your camera have that feature built in?
Right on! This is great, +David Mathre.
Like how you did that +David Mathre! Just need a little music from 'also sprach zarathustra' playing along with the video!
+John Balboni I need to figure out what music I can use without running into copyright issues.
