I am a scientist by training (Eckerd College, BSc; Caltech, Ph.D.). I worked for 27 years as a Chemist in the Pharmaceutical Industry developing processes to manufacture medicines for human and animal health. I now spend my time as a photographer and world traveler.   1. I am not sure if its this type of Crane but there is one which in order too breed has to fly over Mt Everest from India through Nepal over into China where the locals see there arrival as being an Auspicious sign for the new year.
