South Texas Birding Photo Safari with Jason Odell Day 1.
Pyrrhuloxia in the Morning Sun at a Ranch in Southern Texas. This is the first time I’ve seen this bird, that looks to be related to Cardinals. Image taken with a Nikon D4 camera and 500 mm f/4 VR lens (ISO 320, 500 mm, f/4, 1/2000 sec). Raw image processed with Capture One Pro, Focus Magic, and Photoshop CC 2014.
