Today (10-March-2017) — New Jersey

We got a late winter snowstorm today. Yesterday it was ~65°F and sunny. The snow started about 07:00 and continued until 13:00, with about 3 inches of accumulation. By 14:00 the sun was back out, and the snow was sliding off the solar panels (yesterday 64 kWh, today 3 kWh).

One-Year Ago (10-March-2016) — At Sea

We left Mauritius and are at sea on the way to South Africa. Yet another amazing dawn and sunrise. What else can I say?

Two-Years Ago (10-March-2015) — Patagonia

Early in the morning I went for a walkabout at Estancia Chiristina. I was rewarded by the sky being lit up at dawn. I am always amazed by the colors of the clouds at dawn and dusk in Patagonia. Later in the morning we went for a horse ride to the glacier. Here they required helmets when riding the horses (which was good). A few images of silhouettes with lenticular clouds, and one of a rainbow over the glacier.

Three-Years Ago (10-March-2014) — Iceland

I had some time to do a walkabout in Reykjavik, Iceland on a rainy winter day before joining a photo safari. These images were all taken with a Leica X2 camera, my favorite small travel camera.

Five-Years Ago (10-March-2012) — New Jersey

Walkabout in my backyard on a late winter sunny day with a Nikon 1 V1 camera and some big Nikon lenses using a FT1 adapter. A bright yellow daffodil bloom, and a squirrel with an acorn that he just dug up.
