From the air pictures taken while flying across the continental US from San Francisco to New Jersey. The images were taken with a Nikon D3x camera and 50 mm f/1.4 lens and recently reprocessed using Capture One Pro, and Photoshop CC. The dehaze filter in Adobe Capture Raw was used for the daylight images. Several more are available at my Image Gallery
I went for a walkabout at the local Sourland Mountain Reserve on a snowy day and took a few pictures. The gas-line trail looked open, but I didn’t go far. There are cat-tails in the marshy area, and some Mallard ducks swimming in the pond. The ducks usually leave as soon as the more boisterous Canada geese arrive, but on this snowy day the geese stayed away.
The Elderhostel/Road Scholar photography workshop that I attended at Kelly’s Place with my father and brother was over. I took one last image of the “Sleeping Ute Mountain” from the patio at dawn. There was also this flying goddess hanging from the ceiling of the meeting room that intrigued me.
