I finally spotted a Clearwing Hummingbird Moth today at the Sourland Mountain Preserve. The Fuji X-T1 does not focus as fast as my Nikon camera bodies, but I was able to get two images before it flew off. It was extracting nectar from a Blue Chicory flower. In the past I have found them working the Thistle blooms. Summer Nature in New Jersey. Images taken with a Fuji X-T1 camera and 100-400 mm OIS lens.
Walkabout at the Sourland Mountain Preserve this morning. Images of Dragonflies (having sex), Butterflies, a Canada Goose with an attitude, and a frog. Ten images from a walkabout through old town Gdańsk with a Fuji X-T1 camera. Semester at Sea, Summer 2014 voyage. The city was on holiday for the St Dominic’s festival. We sat out in front of a small restaurant having pizza waiting for one of our own running in the 20th Annual Solidarity Marathon.
